Grandpa...originally a farmer from Sicily, would insist living near a church and it's steeple was beneficial for the Garden.
If one was not near a church,
by inserting the copper wire in the garden, one was using 'God's grace' in carrying forth that energy....

I live in Italy too. The churches often have spirals and embedded copper in the columns which is soo interesting.
They usually have a cathode and anode relationship with the primary columns.
I also think about the symbol of the cross with its access oriented north south... the face always opening West.
How did he manage to connect wire like that!?
Probably learned through his personal experiences/family? This concept was dormant within my memory banks and I have been a putterer in the garden for ages…never thought to implement myself…!
