This Week in Electroculture: Sept 29th, 2024
[Exciting Updates, Event News and Community Highlights]
This last Friday we did a short recording on Earth Battery technology that had a nuanced aspect that was really interesting…. When we publish the season, we’ll let all of you know where you can give a listen to it. In the meantime, for those of you who haven’t given us a listen before, Season 1 of the Energetic Agriculture Podcast is available on our substack website.
Also, one of the things I’ve been really interested in for a long time has been paramagnetic towers and it’s smaller cousin, the paramagnetic cone or mini-pyramid. I’ve lately been getting inspired about doing more mold-making and started incorporating new ideas into my designs - coming up with some new drawings for pieces of paramagnetic sculptures that you can use to give your plants a power-up.
If you’re curious about paramagnetism, or magnetism in general, and want to hear about the spiritual side of magnetism as well - which is what I find to be completely fascinating, give the following short episode a listen: Magnetics & Multidimensionality - First Thoughts!
Otherwise, here’s the latest news from the world of electroculture! 🌱
On our Facebook group, ELECTROCULTURE, Beginners to Advanced, here are some posts that stand out:
First up, my partner-in-crime, Ray-Lee Bacon shared a post in our group on Earth.com about a new type of soil for hydroponics being developed, to be used specifically with electroculture:
While they claim that this big increase in growth is really amazing, in my own experiments with electroculture, I’ve started seeing increased in stem and leaf growth of those amounts in that time period, too, over 20 years ago, as I’m sure many of the other early electroculture researchers have seen over 200 years’ ago. In any case, it’s great to see that there’s some modern-day innovations taking place in the electroculture arena!
Taciana in her post on the Electroculture Beginners to Advanced group brought up a very interesting question for those who are growing plants in apartment buildings - how do you do electroculture if you don’t have access to a real garden or farmland?
Lastly, Libro, below, was asking about the effect of electroculture on compost heaps…
Has anyone had any experiences with trying that out?
In the Collective ElectroCulture group on facebook, there were some other stories…
It’s amazing to us how the simplest of techniques gains so much attention - yet honestly, I think that’s what's caused the electroculture world to blow up in early 2023 with the emergence of spiral antennas taking the world by storm. This one already has 174 comments and 33 shares. We’ve had tons of similar posts like that one on our group last year, and it’s crazy that there is still that much interest over a year later!
Before then, most of electroculture online was about paramagnetic towers, Christofleau atmospheric charge collectors, some magnetic devices, and a few others of us experimenting with DC and high voltage (like me). In any case, I’m so appreciative that electroculture has become so simplified that literally anyone can jump into it with just a few minutes of spare time and a some easy to find household items - like spare pieces of wire!
Lastly, check out Michael Sorsche who has built a large copper pyramid inside their greenhouse!
We’ve done a number of podcast episodes on the subject of pyramid energy (3 of them in the new season!, yet to be released). If you’re interested in learning more, check out our last podcast of the season on them - Pyramid Power:

That’s all for this edition of this newsletter. I hope you enjoyed it!
