Let me share with you a beautiful quote from writer Marcel Proust about gratitude:
“Let us be grateful to the people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.”
― Marcel Proust
I believe those words.
And in that spirit of gratitude, here are 9 things for which I’m grateful:
#1: I am grateful for the unique start I had in life, spending my first year in an incubator, away from my mothers heartbeat.
It may sound sad… And yes, I may be wounded.
But that wound ignites a fire in my heart for authentic connection…
and the mystics path.
#2: I am deeply grateful for my wife and her courage to give birth to our two children at home, making them two of only three children registered as home births in our entire region.
I thank God for the freedom and safety that allowed us to make this choice. It's a proud part of our lives that I hold very dear.
#3: I’m grateful that I poop in a bucket not out of necessity but out of an intimate respect for the cycle of life.
#4: I am grateful for staying true to myself along a̶l̶l̶ most of my life's journey.
I deeply appreciate my mom for affirming that following my heart will lead me to be my best self in service for all.
#5: I am grateful that covid did not destroy our farm business of 10 years.
It allowed us to let it go so we could dare to dream again.
#6: I’m grateful that we built a tiny home in a moment of crisis.
It puts a new spin on the phrase Never let a good crisis go unused.
It brought my wife and 2 kids closer together [sleeping in a loft … go figure.]!
#7: I am grateful that by delving deeply into electroculture and the mysteries that pervade us I may continue to ignite a sense of wonder, humility and reverence for life.
#8: I am grateful that I was able to create my dream of having a beautiful homestead full of lush gardens and trees that are well loved and love us back in return!
[like a closed loop circuit]
#9: Finally, and importantly, I’m grateful for you and the wonderful, supportive community of truth-seekers we’ve built together.
I hope we all awaken to the wonders of life and the simple blessings that each day brings!
…
This list is by no means all-inclusive. But it covers many of the things for which I’m most grateful.
Now I’d like to hear from you.

The world around me feels full of great upheavals and a pervasive uncertainty that I could pierce with a k̶n̶i̶f̶e̶, rather my heart.
Do you feel that too? Worry not.
No matter how cold the winter is, there is always spring!
